We've seen architectural photographs where the
buildings seem to be falling over. How come
yours are straight?
you lose the top of the building.
you lose the top of the building.

you lose the top of the building.

We can then shift the len down to capture the
top of the building, while keeping the lens
parallel to the ground.  The result: the entire
building with straight lines.entire building with
straight lines.
Do you ever take clients with you?
Absolutely. And it is to our benefit that they
come with....because once over their sites, the
client will see the angles he needs and can tell
us exactly what he wants.
How do you take corporate portraits on-site?
We will come to your office with a large
portable muslem backdrop, flash and lights, or
groomed and wearing professional office attire.
Do you fly the airplane and shoot at the same
time?
Absolutely not. In the Chicago and Indiana
area, we have aerial photographers who fly
their airplane and shoot photographs at the
same time. This is a highly dangerous operation
and raises the question: If you are taking
photographs, who is flying the airplane?

We want to  assure you that Aerial Images
Photography always has a pilot flying the
airplane while the photographer is taking your
photographs. These  pilots are often corporate
and airline pilots with thousands of flight hours
experience. We state in our contract that, in
the event of an incident or accident. you, the
client, are  in no way held responsible.
What equipment do you use for the
architectural photographs?

We have a special Canon shift lens to remove
distortion. We also use polarizing filters
designed to enhance the blue sky and
dramatize the clouds. To eliminate any
possibility of  vibration, we have a remote
electric shutter button.
What kind of camera are you using and why?
We utilize the famous 17mp Canon 1DS Mark III
and the Mark II cameras used by other
professional photographers around the world.
Canon has 70% of the pro market  and Nikon,
Fugi, and Mamiya  share the other 30%   There
must be a good reason Canon has such a large
portion of the market.
How did you learn photography?
Basically, by OTJ, It has been a combination of
college photography classes, on the job
training, trial and error and reading up how
others do it...and practice, practice, and more
practice. I also have a couple accomplished
award-winning photographers as my mentors
and I have spent many hours learning lighting,
PhotoShop, and business practices from them.
Do you fly around Midway and Ohare airports?

areas is difficult and dangerous. In reality, with areas is difficult and dangerous. In reality, with our
8500 flight hours, we have a superb relationship with the air traffic controllers and  95% of the time,
permission is granted immediately to fly into areas others will refuse to go.to go.
